Title: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Author: C.S. Lewis
Review by:  Megan N. (5th grade)

I recommend this book to anybody who likes adventure, action, and fantasy. In this book a girl named Lucy, steps into a wardrobe and finds herself in a magical world in a country called Narnia. In Narnia she meets a faun. Later, when she and her siblings [Peter, Susan, and Edmund] get into Narnia, they find themselves running away from the white witch and trying to get to the stone table before her. But Edmund gets captured by the white witch and not trying to but betrays them by telling the white witch info. This book is one of my favorite books that I would recommend to anybody.

When Sam's father goes missing it's up to Sam to find him and bring him back. When Sam finds a statue that let's him travel in time Sam goes on an adventure to see if his father is trapped in time.  I chose this book because, I loved the adventure and the way it intrigues you. I give this book two thumbs up, and recommend every one to read it.

The Lost Hero

Title: The Lost Hero
Author: Rick Riordan
Review by: Matthew L. (5th grade)

It's really funny.  It's fast paced and exciting. If you like the Percy Jackson series then you sould read this book! I would say this book is around 5th/4th grade reading level. This book is mostly about how three kids go on a quest of trying to free Hera, and trying to save Piper's dad.  Read this and go on the newest camp half blood adventure!

Tentacles

Title: Tentacles
Author: Roland Smith Review by: Sakina S. (5th grade)

Cousins 13-year old Marty and Grace are off on another expedition in this thrilling sequel. This time, they travel on a haunted ship searching for a giant squid with their obsessed uncle, Travis Wolfe. Grace's grandfather, Noah Blackwood will stop at nothing to put an end to Travis, even if it means sinking the historical vessel. If you like adventure, action, mystery, and humor, this book would be ideally perfect for you. I highly recommend it for children ages 10 and above.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth

Title: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth
Author: Jeff Kinney
Review by: Karen I. (5th Grade)

If you like to read comics, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a perfect book.  Well, I guess it's also a diary.  It's not just one book, there is a whole collection of them, also.  They can be very fun to read.  Gregory is a wimpy kid that goes to middle school and always gets in fights with his friend Rowley.  Well, I hope you read it.

Milo

Title: Milo
Author: Alan Silberberg
Review by: Chandler J. (5th Grade)

If you like the same kind of books series like Big Nate and Diary of a Wimpy Kid you'll like Milo.  He's the kind of person who likes to go to a pit stop with a friend and get snacks and freezies.  The author is Alan Silberberg.  The reason I think it goes with 5th grade is because it's like Big Nate  and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  For example, in the first chapter it shows that he likes a girl.
